My long-standing research interests lie in the area of holography with current investigations focused primarily on broadly understood relation between entanglement in quantum field theories and spacetime geometry. Other research directions include foundations of relativistic hydrodynamics, non-equilibrium physics of gauge theories, numerical relativity in anti-de Sitter spacetimes and various aspects of black hole physics. Outstanding junior researchers interested in externally-funded post-doctoral positions at the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics (Albert Einstein Institute) in Potsdam-Golm (Germany) are encouraged to contact me directly to discuss available possibilities.
